Turzany, Thurzani w r. 1505, ws, pow. inowroclawski, o 6 klm. ku wsch. od Inowroclawia (par., poczta i st. dr. zel.). Wznies. 80 mt. npm., nad Tazyna (dopl. Wisly); szkola w miejscu; 40 dm., 352 mk. (338 kat., 14 prot.): 350 ha (298 roli). W r. 1505 wchodzily Turzany w sklad ststwa inowroclawskiego (Kod. Dypl. Pol., II, 977). Wedlug lustracyi z r. 1565 bylo tu kmieci 9, rola niewymierzona. Nalezala do mieszczan inowroclawskich, ktory z niej czynsz placa do zamki. Dochod 6 fl. 9 gr. 3 den. (Lustr. V, 294). W nowszych czasach byly wlasnoscia miasta Inowroclawia. E. Cal   Turzany, Thurzani in the year 1505, village, district of Inowroclaw, 6 km. east of Inowroclaw (parish, post office and railway station). Elevation 80 meters above sea level. Above the Tazyna (a tributary of the Wisla); local school; 40 houses, 352 inhabitants (338 catholic, 14 protestant); 350 hectares (298 tillable). In the year 1505 Turzany came under the constitution of Inowroclaw (Kod. Dypl. Pol., II, 977). According to the lists from 1565, there were 9 peasants, fields unmeasured. Belonging to town(-citizens) of Inowroclaw, who from no rent pay to close the account. Income of 6 florin, 9 groszy, 3 den. (Lustr. V, 294). In modern times was the property of the city of Inowroclaw.
